Install SNKLNK

Put SNKLNK on your device.

SNKLNK is an installable web app. Open it in a supported browser, add it to your device, and it launches in its own app window with your local data staying on that device.

Open SNKLNK Installation steps

iPhone and iPad

Install with Safari

Open snklnk.com/app/ in Safari.
Tap the Share button.
Choose Add to Home Screen. If needed, scroll down or edit the available actions to find it.
Turn on Open as Web App.
Tap Add.

SNKLNK will appear on your Home Screen and open like a standalone app.

Android

Install with Chrome

Open snklnk.com/app/ in Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu beside the address bar.
Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. On some devices the wording may appear as Install app or Add to Home screen.
Confirm the installation.

The exact wording can vary slightly by Chrome and Android version.

Chrome on desktop

Install on Windows, macOS, or Linux

Open snklnk.com/app/ in Chrome.
Open the Chrome menu.
Choose Cast, save, and share, then Install page as app. Chrome may also show an Install icon in the address bar.
Follow the on-screen confirmation.

Microsoft Edge

Install on desktop with Edge

Open snklnk.com/app/ in Microsoft Edge.
Open Settings and more.
Go to More tools, then Apps.
Choose Install this site as an app and confirm.

Before changing devices

Your records do not automatically follow you.

SNKLNK is local-first. Installing the app on a second phone or computer does not automatically synchronize your private records. Before replacing or resetting a device, create an encrypted backup in Settings → Backup & restore. You can download it or use Share encrypted backup to send the protected file through your device's share menu, then import it on the new device.

Keep the backup password separate from the backup file. SNKLNK cannot recover a forgotten backup password.
