Clear rules for a private app.
These terms explain the responsibilities that come with using SNKLNK, including local records, paid entitlements, and future Paddle purchases.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of SNKLNK, including the website, Progressive Web App, SNKLNK+ features, and related services. By using SNKLNK, you agree to these Terms. SNKLNK is intended only for adults age 18 or older. Do not use SNKLNK to create or retain sexual or intimate records involving a minor.
2. What SNKLNK provides
SNKLNK is a personal organization and analytics tool for locally recording connections, encounters, reminders, locations, notes, ratings, and related information. Features may change as the service develops. SNKLNK is not a dating service, medical provider, laboratory, emergency service, or professional adviser.
3. Your records and responsibilities
You control what you enter into SNKLNK and are responsible for using the service lawfully. You may only store, export, or share information and images you are legally permitted to possess and process. Do not use SNKLNK for harassment, stalking, exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual intimate imagery, unlawful surveillance, or other illegal conduct.
You are responsible for device security and for maintaining backups of local records you want to preserve. Local browser data may be lost through browser clearing, device loss, reset, uninstall, corruption, or operating-system behavior.
4. Health and safety information
Testing reminders, protection statistics, sexual-health fields, and related Insights are organizational features only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment, or a substitute for appropriate professional care or testing.
5. SNKLNK+ and licenses
SNKLNK+ provides access to the premium features identified at the time of purchase or activation. A license is a limited, personal, revocable right to use those features and does not transfer ownership of SNKLNK. License keys may not be resold, publicly distributed, fraudulently obtained, or used to bypass access controls.
SNKLNK may validate an entitlement through api.snklnk.com. Licenses may be suspended or revoked for refunds, fraud, chargebacks, abuse, or material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
6. Orders and Paddle
Paid SNKLNK orders are processed by Paddle as SNKLNK's online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles buyer payment processing, transaction-related customer service, and returns. Paddle's buyer terms and privacy practices also apply to transactions it processes.
Before purchase, the applicable price, billing model, product description, and refund terms will be displayed. A paid commitment is created only when a buyer completes an order through the live Paddle checkout.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the SNKLNK Refund Policy, Paddle's applicable buyer/refund terms, and mandatory consumer law. A refunded or reversed purchase may result in revocation of the associated paid entitlement.
8. Communications
If you provide an email address in connection with a purchase, license, support request, recovery feature, or other optional online service, SNKLNK may use it for transactional and service communications such as license delivery, activation instructions, recovery, security notices, or important service changes. Marketing messages will be handled separately where consent is required.
9. Intellectual property
SNKLNK, its branding, interface, software, and original content are owned by the SNKLNK operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
10. Availability and changes
SNKLNK may be updated, modified, interrupted, or discontinued. Local-first features are designed to remain useful without continuous server access, but online services may be unavailable from time to time.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SNKLNK is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, warranties, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Termination
You may stop using SNKLNK at any time. SNKLNK may restrict online services or paid entitlements when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, refunds, or material violations of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and, where permitted, the laws applicable to the SNKLNK operator, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
14. Changes
These Terms may be updated as SNKLNK changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date or version.
